Nairobi to Masai Mara

Start early, around 8:00 AM, and begin your road trip to Masai Mara. The drive typically takes about 5 to 6 hours. You'll enjoy the scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for photos and stretching your legs.

You'll arrive at the camp around midday, where you'll check in and enjoy a delicious lunch at the camp. Later in the afternoon, you'll head out for your first game drive around 3:30 PM. Explore the vast savannahs and begin spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant and Cape buffalo).

Return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay. Enjoy the evening with some traditional Maasai performances around the campfire (if offered by the camp).

Full Day in Masai Mara

Spend the day in Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game reserve where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant).
