Upon arriving at Mwanza Airport, our guide will meet and drive you to your hotel. You will have a chance for a briefing and introduction about your safari. Mwanza is known for its beautiful lake, rock formations, and favorable weather. If you arrive early and are picked up promptly, you will have time to tour Mwanza City, Lake Victoria, and Bismark Rock and visit key areas. You can also enjoy the city environment and banquet until lunchtime. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to go shopping for local and cultural products if you are interested until the evening before returning to your hotel.

Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Wake up at 6:00am and meet our English-speaking guide. We will then drive directly to the western side park entry gate. Enjoy a full day of game driving in the expansive wilderness of Serengeti. You will see the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the Ten Wonders of the Natural World, which is a spectacular event in Tanzania. If you book your trip for June to September, you will have the chance to see this event, as well as encounter the Big Five, big cats, and a variety of resident animals. The Serengeti National Park is home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and a plethora of birds. You may also have the opportunity to spot the rare oribi antelope, allowing you to capture close-up photographs throughout the day. We will have lunch at a picnic site and continue our game drive until we return to Mwanza for dinner and overnight stay, preparing to explore Lake Victoria the following day.

Hiking Saanane Island National Park and Boating on Lake Victoria
After morning breakfast, you will be picked and driven for 15 minutes to the Saanane Island National Park entrance gate and then take a 10—15 minute fast boat ride to the island. Located on an island in Lake Victoria, this park is the only national park within city limits. During hiking, you will encounter impala, zebra, wildebeest, rock hyrax, monkeys, dik-dik, otters, enclosed lions, crocodiles, peacocks, reed beds, and a mix of indigenous and introduced species, along with beautiful views of the lake and islands and rest points.
After lunch, you will be taken to Bismark Rock, where you can spend 2—3 hours observing local fishermen and enjoying a magical cruise with unforgettable views of Lake Victoria. During the cruise, you will be served soft drinks and snacks. Finally, weather permitting, you will end the day by enjoying a stunning sunset before being taken to the airport for departure.
