The access to the park will be through the Bachuma gate. The park holds the country’s largest elephant population, known as the "red elephants".

The game drive meanders through vast plains interspersed with woodlands which behold captivating views of the Taita Hills and the impressive Yatta Plateau to Aruba. Exploring the hinterlands of the park is a rewarding experience with opportunities where you might see lions, cheetahs, or great herds of buffaloes stampeding across the plains.
