Day 1

Program of the Day: You are picked up from your hotel or lodge in Arusha and depart to Tarangire National Park for a game drive while carrying lunch boxes. Once you finish the game drive, we will transfer you to the lodge to relax, have dinner and have your overnight stay ready for the next day adventure.

The name of the park originated from the Tarangire River that winds its way through the parklands which is the only water source for wildlife here during the dry season. Also, the park is well-known for its large elephant herds, Giant Scattered Baobab Trees and Tree-Climbing African python. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. And you will get a chance to see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.

Program of the Day: After breakfast, you will depart to Serengeti National Park for a game drive and enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the camp.

Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest depending on the rainy season gathering together for calving season. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Program of the Day: After breakfast, we will embark on a full-day game drive within Serengeti National Park, bringing along lunch boxes for the journey. With the assistance of a guide, we will explore a part of the park where we can expect to encounter a diverse array of animals. In the afternoon, we will have a picnic lunch at one of the park's best picnic sites. Following the game drive, we will be transferred to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park, located in northern Tanzania, is a world heritage site covering an area of approximately 15,000 square kilometers. The park is home to over 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and around 500 bird species. During the dry season, the area hosts large herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra. Additionally, the North Serengeti is abundant in resident wildlife, including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile, and the rare oribi antelope.

Program of the Day: After breakfast in the early morning, we will drive out of Serengeti with en-route game viewing. We will carry a lunch box and head towards the gates of the Ngorongoro conservation area. Once there, we will descend into the crater where you will be able to see a wide variety of animals.

The Ngorongoro crater is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites and is the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world. It is considered one of the natural wonders of Africa, formed after an explosion that occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago. The crater is home to about 30,000 large mammals such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many varieties of birds including flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see many animals within a short period of time.

After the game drive, we will take you to the lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch. After the game drive, you will be driven to Kilimanjaro Airport for your air transfer to your next destination.

Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), with up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) being the lake when water levels are high. The park is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, and buffalos. There is even a chance to see the legendary tree-climbing lion! During the game drive, you can take a break at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos.
