You will be collected in Lusaka for road transfer to Kanyemba. Carved out of the African bush, Kanyemba is a wonderful getaway in the Lower Zambezi, only three hours from the capital city of Lusaka. It is located about 45 km from the Lower Zambezi National Park, in the Chiawa GMA.

Game Drive or Canoe in Lower Zambezi National Park
You'll choose your activity over the next 2 days.
You'll enjoy full-day game drives with a picnic lunch.
-You'll depart the lodge early morning for a boat ride (approx 1 ½ hours) downstream to the base camp of
Conservation Lower Zambezi (CLZ), where you will transfer to your open-top game drive vehicle.
The full day is spent in the national park, exploring loops looking for 4 of the Big Five (elephant, buffalo, lion, and
leopard), as well as a variety of herbivores and birds. After a picnic lunch, you'll wind your way back towards CLZ
to transfer back to the boat for the trip back to the lodge (2 hours) —arriving around 6 pm.
National Park roads are not accessible during the rains (closed from mid-Nov to mid-April).

After breakfast, you will depart for Lusaka.

Kanyemba Lodge strives to provide a haven in which to enjoy the beauty and activities on offer in the Lower Zambezi. Catering for a maximum of 20 guests, the lodge comprises 6 air-conditioned stone and thatch “rondavel” chalets, each with its own large private deck overlooking the Zambezi River, a full en-suite bathroom, and a walk-in wardrobe.
