Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast you will be picked by our driver guide and after full safari briefing, depart Nairobi and head southwards to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Have an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

An exploratory drive around the 1,792 sq. km game park with its low hills and savannah type rolling grasslands, gallery forest on the Mara River and its tributaries. Get introduced to the herbivores; elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the variety of antelopes, the Masai giraffe and the Burchell zebra. The carnivores are the black mane lion, cheetah and leopard. Also to be seen are the largest bird, the Maasai ostrich, the Secretary bird, the crested crane and saddle-bill stork. Crocodiles and hippos share the river. Return to your camp by sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast at the camp then enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Maasai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti Ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here; The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions – particularly the superb black maned males. See the great Migration where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes crossing the mighty Mara River. Experience the battle between survival and hunger. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as – if you’re lucky leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You’re sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film/tapes and enjoy yourselves!

Drive to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, you will check out and drive towards Lake Nakuru. You will get a chance to have lunch on the way. Arrive at your accommodation in the afternoon for Dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru - Amboseli National Park

After breakfast proceeds on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific birdlife including flamingoes. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Later proceed to Amboseli for Dinner and overnight at Nyati Camp/similar.

Amboseli National Park

Full day exploration of the park. After breakfast depart to morning game drive. Transferred to your lodge for lunch at leisure. Embark for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli - Arusha

Have an early morning game drive in Amboseli returning to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast at the lodge, depart for Tanzania border with picnic lunch boxes and enter Tanzania through Namanga. After you have done with immigration, you will exchange vehicles and proceed to Arusha arriving around 4:00pm for overnight rest. Overnight at The Charity Hotel.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast set off on safari with your guide and driver to Tarangire National Park (approx. 120 km). Named for the river that nourishes the wildlife of a vast ecosystem, Tarangire is home to the elephant, zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, buffalo, eland, water buck, lion, giraffe, onyx and an unsurpassed diversity of birds. From June to November, masses of wildlife congregate around the river, but the park is a stronghold for big game year-round. Take your first game drive before retiring to your accommodation where you will have Dinner and overnight.

Drive to Serengeti National Park

The legendary Serengeti Plain is your destination today, a vast rolling plain whose sparse vegetation allows for
some of the best wildlife viewing in the world. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra is one of the
park’s great attractions, but throughout the year the Serengeti is excellent for seeing predators such as lion,
leopard and cheetah, along with elephant, giraffe, hyena, hippo, rhino, and many varieties of antelopes and birds. You will enjoy a picnic lunch as you drive to Serengeti. The evening is free to rest.

Serengeti National Park Full Game Drive

Today we enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives on the vast Serengeti plains. In the early morning and evening light, the Serengeti landscape is stunningly beautiful. The Serengeti Ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, including more than three million large mammals. The park is one that can never disappoint. One is spoiled by the variety of bird and wildlife species in this game reserve. Depending with wildlife movement at different times, we may serve picnic lunch at a picnic site.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

This morning descend into the crater for an in-depth exploration of this distinctive ecosystem. Enjoy abundant wildlife viewing set against the impressive backdrop of the Ngorongoro Crater, the heart of the conservation area. These drives provide one of the best opportunities in Africa to view the rare black rhino, which tend to spend their time on the crater floor. Ngorongoro is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles; its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to enthrall visitors. For lunch, enjoy a picnic next to the hippo pools on the crater floor. Continue with the game drive throughout the various ecosystems of the crater, including woodland filled with zebra and baboon, plains that support scavenging hyena and a lake that is tinted pink with greater and lesser flamingos. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. In the afternoon drive back to Arusha for an overnight at Charity Hotel.
