Ngorongoro crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro crater to Arusha

Following a delightful breakfast, prepare your packed lunches for an unforgettable adventure. Today, our destination is none other than the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's seven natural wonders.

This extraordinary marvel was born from the colossal eruption of a massive volcano two million years ago. The fertile lava deposits left behind created a unique ecosystem, rendering the crater a natural haven for wildlife. With the highest concentration of animals in Africa, the crater resembles a sprawling natural zoo.

As the largest intact caldera in the world, formed from a cataclysmic explosion millions of years ago, the Ngorongoro Crater's floor sits at an elevation of 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. Within its confines, approximately 30,000 animals roam freely, accompanied by a diverse array of bird species.

Following our exhilarating animal-spotting expedition, we'll journey back to Arusha, where we'll ensure you're dropped off at your desired destination.

Main Destination:

Best Time To Visit June to October (Wildlife viewing is best)
