Depart from Zanzibar International Airport on a local flight to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip, our guide will pick you up and take you on a game drive with a picnic lunch.

Located in northern Tanzania, Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site covering approximately 15,000 square kilometers. The park is home to over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and around 500 bird species. During the dry season, you can witness massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebras.

Waking up in the Serengeti is a truly unforgettable experience. The sights, sounds, and smells of Africa surround you, setting the stage for a full day of adventure in the world’s most iconic national park. After breakfast, we embark on the morning section of our game drive in Serengeti National Park, where you'll be captivated by the breathtaking scenery, ever-changing light, and the fascinating wildlife, all expertly interpreted by your driver-guide.

At the end of the afternoon, we return to our basic campsite for dinner and some well-deserved rest.

Note: For those who have booked the Balloon Safari for today, you'll be picked up from the camp at 5:00 AM for a 6:00 AM departure. If you wish to book the balloon safari, please inform us in advance. The price is $595 per person. After your 60-90 minute aerial adventure (depending on wind conditions), enjoy a bush breakfast and champagne. Your driver-guide will then pick you up for your full-day game drive.

As the vibrant sounds of Africa awaken you, the day unfolds with an 08:00 start for our exhilarating morning game drive. Later, our journey leads us to Ngorongoro, another iconic destination in Africa.

Serengeti is a realm where time seems irrelevant, with over 1.6 million herbivores and countless predators offering endless fascination. Each season brings its own spectacle, enhanced by the natural light. Your driver-guide will enhance your experience by identifying various species and sharing insights into their intriguing behaviors and habitats.

Following a delightful picnic lunch, we venture eastward towards another remarkable site for Tanzania’s wildlife: the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, settle into our comfortable campsite as a delicious, hot dinner is prepared. Tomorrow promises the exploration of the crater's wonders.

Before your journey homeward begins, immerse yourself in the wonder of Ngorongoro Crater, often hailed as a marvel of the world. As the sun rises, your early morning game drive unveils its splendor.
First, behold the vast volcanic caldera, the world's largest, adorned with grasslands, forests, and swamps, creating a scene of breathtaking magnificence. Second, the crater floor's perennial water sustains a thriving population of over 25,000 large mammals. Here, encounter the very essence of safari: elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, bathing hippos, graceful waterbucks, playful baboons, and even the elusive black rhino seek refuge.
Sharing this remarkable realm with the wildlife are the Maasai, tending to their cattle in a region designated as a separate conservation area since 1956 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978. This harmonious coexistence of humans and animals renders Ngorongoro unparalleled in Tanzania.

Today we set out early heading to stunning Tarangire National Park. your game-drive will reveal all the wonders of Tarangire, a National Park often referred to as the ‘Elephant Playground’. Herds of up to 300 of these mighty mammals are sometimes seen in the park.
Serengeti may be better known, but Tarangire in the dry season easily rivals it for animal densities. As well as the herds of elephant Tarangire is home to buffalo, lion, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle while gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx are ‘local specialties’. Lake Burungi’s marshy shores are the lure for these mammals and the waters attract many beautiful bird species, too. Look out for giant kingfishers, hoopoes and the delightfully-named white-bellied go-away bird. Tarangire is noted for its splendid baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia woodland. At the end of an inspiring afternoon amongst the wildlife, we retire to the Arusha town.
