Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You'll get your early morning breakfast then load your bags into the car and start your journey to Uganda via the Katuna border to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have lunch en route in Kabale town and reach the lodge late afternoon or evening and have your evening relaxation. You'll spend your overnight stay at Broadbill Forest Camp.

Gorilla Tracking and Batwa Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, you'll drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. You will meet fellow other trackers where you be divided into groups and head out into the dense forests to look for these gentle apes. The walk involves moving up and down through thick trees, different birds can be spotted on this adventurous walk. On reaching the gorillas, you are given 1 hour to observe them as they carry on with their daily activities eating, playing, and mating.
After you walk out of the forest to where you started the trek for the awarding ceremony of successfully completing the gorilla trekking activity. You'll drive back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you will head out and visit the Batwa community who were the initial inhabitants of the forests who were forced out to enter the conservation of the forests and the diverse ecosystem and its wildlife including the mountain gorillas.
