2-Day Kilimanjaro Trek - Marangu Route-Without Summing

Arusha to Marangu Gate – Mandara Hut

During this excursion, your day begins with breakfast at the hotel in Arusha. Following that, you'll be picked up and transported to Marangu Gate on the eastern side of Kilimanjaro, departing Arusha town at 07:00 AM. Once at the gate, you'll handle necessary paperwork such as registrations before commencing the hike around 10:00AM.

Embark on a trek through the rainforest from the park gate (6000 ft) to Mandara Hut (9000 ft), a journey lasting approximately 3 – 4 hours. Take a break halfway for lunch, and anticipate reaching Mandara Huts around 01:00 PM. Following a brief tour of Mandara, you'll head to the Hut for an evening meal and overnight stay.

Enjoy Maundi Crater see the views back to Kilimanjaro Airport

After breakfast, ascend from Mandara hut and explore the awesome Kilimanjaro volcano known Maundi Crater. From Mandara Hut, the trails pass through a short stretch of forest, and reach the zone between rain forest to moorland. After lunch, descend to Marangu gate for the drive back to the Airport.
