Day 1

Our 6 days Gorilla Bwindi and Wildlife Safari, starts with briefing on the tour from Gorilla Safaris Uganda Travel guide/driver over breakfast, and then after we drive heading to southwestern Uganda. En route, there is a local community popular for making local drums and crafts and a fruit market. Stopover, admire and buy yourself souvenirs. Proceed to the Equator line taken as one beautiful scenery in Africa – the pathway of the sun and take photographs.
Zebras-Lake-Mburo Early afternoon, arrive in Lake Mburo for a lunch in the park grounds as you marvel at the game and birds within the park. Take the first Wildlife Safari game drive in the afternoon with different species of mammals such as Impala, jackals, Buffalo, Eland, leopard, Topi, Hyenas and Zebra. The five lakes within the park attract crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of water birds, while the fringing swamps hide secretive papyrus specialists, such as the sitatunga antelope and red, black and yellow papyrus Gonalek.

Day 2

After an early breakfast we depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Mbarara town.
We drive through stunning volcanic landscape adorned with steep sided hills covered from top to bottom in neatly terraced plantations of bananas, tea and thick maintained forests to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for gorilla trekking. Banana-planation-Mbarara.
The Bwindi area is a highly fertile, mountainous region with steep sided hills covered from top to bottom in neatly terraced rows of cultivation. You are really driving through the “Banana Republic” with banana plantations all around you, steep hills, small rivers – just amazing Gorilla Trekking & Wildlife Safari scenery. Arrive late afternoon at the park and check-in at accommodation.

Day 3

After breakfast, proceed for the morning briefing before enjoying the highlight of the trip, which may last the entire day. We trek through the rain forest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a guide and trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family. The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten. When sighted, visitors will be guided to within 6 metres from the gorillas, sit around them for a whole hour while gazing into their big round eyes.
Gorilla trekking is unpredictable. It’s difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike. The gorilla excursion can take from 2 up to 8 hours. Expect to walk along distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. A good physical condition is recommended.
With Abatwa culture visit in the evening before retiring t our lodges for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is located at the foot of the Rwenzoris Mountains, protecting over 200 sq km of Rift Valley Savanna, interspersed with patches of forest and crater lakes thus an thought for a safari. At your arrival, carry out a launch trip along the Kazinga Channel. scrutinize the concentration of water birds, crocodiles and hippos which is remarkable. The bird species includes the 11 types of king fisher, black bee- eater and several species of falcons, eagles and the raptors and many more.

Day 5
Game drive and chimpanzee tracking

Wake up early in the morning and go for a game drive to see wildlife like lions, Uganda Kobs, elephants, spotted hyenas and the leopard plus many others. In the afternoon, head for Kyambura gorge for the chimpanzee trekking and other primates in the forest.

Day 6
Transfer back to Kampala or to the airport
Transfer back to Kampala or to the airport
After breakfast, we depart for Kampala with with lunch enroute and arrive Kampala in the afternoon. Please note that if your flight back home is on that day we shall take you straight to airport and all international departures require at least 2 hour check in before departure.
