Day 1

Your shared shuttle departs from O.R. Tambo International Airport at 7:45 am. You will make your way to the Northern Drakensberg Mountains where you will meet your safari and nature guide. He will take you on a private tour through the mountains which includes stops and short walks at some of the scenic beauties of this mountain range. This visit includes sights such as God's Window, Lisbon Falls, the Three Rondavels at Blyde Canyon and Bourke's Luck Potholes.
You arrive at Phalaborwa in the late afternoon. There, you will sleep in dome tents at a family-friendly campsite right next to the Kruger Park Gate. Your guide/chef will prepare dinner, which is included.

Day 2
Sunrise Safari and Riverboat Safari

In the early morning, we will take you to the nearby Kruger Park Gate, where you will join a shared sunrise drive guided by official Kruger Park rangers. Only official park vehicles and rangers can be out in the park between the hours of sunset and sunrise, so this is a unique opportunity to see nocturnal animals when they are still active from the previous night's hunt. We return to the camp for breakfast.
Later in the day, you join the riverboat safari on the Olifants River, where you can observe different species, such as hippos and crocodiles. You will also see antelopes or elephants at the shore from the unique perspective of the boat. We return to the camp for dinner and another night's restful sleep, surrounded by the sounds of the bush.

Day 3

We will spend the day in Kruger National Park, where you will be enchanted by amazing animal sightings as seen from the viewing platform of an open safari vehicle and accompanied by the insightful comments of your private safari guide. Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase on your own account along the way. Your guide will prepare breakfast for you at a picnic site or rest camp. Dinner is included at the campsite.

Day 4

We spend another day in Kruger National Park, always on the lookout for the best animal sightings. Your experienced nature guide will facilitate this and surprise you with his knowledge of the African bush and his incredible understanding of nature. Our guide uses all of his senses to make out animal tracks and signs that are not apparent to the untrained eye.

After breakfast, we will take you back to the shuttle departure location, where you will board a vehicle to return to O.R. Tambo Airport, where this adventure ends at 17h30. You will surely be back soon for more!
