Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you meet our driver-guide. He or she will brief you about your 12-day Uganda safari. You will take on the Kampala city tour and visit local markets. You'll visit historical sites such as Kasubi tombs and the Buganda kingdom palace. Lunch will be at your hotel around the city. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in Kampala.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will drive to Uganda’s largest and oldest national park— Murchison Falls National Park. You will stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Lunch will be in Masindi town. Upon arrival, you will check-in, have dinner, and spend the night.

Day 3

Game Drive at Murchison Falls National Park

Game Drive at Murchison Falls National Park

You'll begin your day with an exhilarating game drive through the park, keeping your eyes peeled for iconic African wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, lions, and more. After the game drive, you'll enjoy a leisurely brunch at your accommodation.

In the afternoon, you'll embark on a thrilling boat cruise along the Victoria Nile, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The highlight of the cruise is reaching the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls, where the Nile River plunges through a narrow gorge. After the boat cruise, you will embark on a hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking views of the cascading water.

After breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale National Park— the Primate capital of the world. Lunch will be en route and stunning views of the Rwenzori mountains will accompany you to the park. Upon arrival, you will check in, relax, have dinner, and spend the night over.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Tour

After breakfast, you will go for an extraordinary experience on your 12 days at Uganda Safari in Kibale National Park. Chimpanzee tracking includes walking through the thick forests of Kibale in search of chimps. Upon meeting them, you will spend an hour in their presence. Return to your lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland area. This is a true birders’ haven and home to multiple Rift Valley endemics. You will also interact with the local members of the community. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will take on the Crater Lakes tour, explore Amabere caves, and hike to the top of the world. You may visit the Fort Portal area to explore Uganda’s tourist city. In the evening, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. The lakes can only be viewed when you hike to the top that's the beautiful reward of this hike.

After breakfast, you will drive to Uganda’s most popular park — Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll drive via the Uganda Equator for pictorial moments. Upon arrival, you'll settle into your accommodation overlooking the park’s picturesque landscapes, before embarking on an evening game drive in search of the park’s resident wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, and the elusive leopards.

It is such a great day on your 12 days of Uganda Safari. The day starts with a morning breakfast and pre-gorilla trekking briefing at the park headquarters. Gorilla trekking will begin there and then. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will spend an hour in their presence. You'll return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the evening, you will visit the local Batwa communities and dive into their life. You'll take part in your traditional activities. You'll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
