Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport

You will be met at Kilimanjaro International airport by Eyes Of Tanzania representative and then you will be transferred to Arumeru River Lodge. Before dinner you will get a short brief about what to expect in this amazing adventure. You will then meet your professional driver guide and plan your next day departure time. Relax, enjoy your dinner and be ready.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will be picked up and drive through a scenic Masai Steppe and arrive at Tarangire National Park. The drive is around in 2 and a half hours. Your driver will take care of the paperwork at the park’s gate then you will embark on your first game drive in the Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants and large baobab trees that dot the grassland. Lunch will be at a designated picnic site. Then afternoon game drives until sunset time to check in at Marera Valley Lodge.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will drive to Serengeti, game drive enroute. You will have a stop at Ngorongoro Carter rim to view the crater. On the way you will have a stop at one of the picnic site for lunch. You will then continue to your accommodation in central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp.

Serengeti National Park is well known for the largest annual animal migration in the world of over 1.5 million blue wildebeest and 250,000 zebra along with smaller herds of Thomson's gazelle and eland. The national park is also home to the largest lion population in Africa. It is under threat from deforestation, population growth and ranching. Enjoy!

Day 4

Today you will do a full day game drive. Enjoy your lunch at one of the picnic site. Late afternoon you will drive back to your accommodation for dinner and over night. If you are lucky this is the chance to see the big 5. If not dont wory, you still have chance while in Ngorongoro Crater tomorrow.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Highlands

This morning you will continue with further game drives in the Serengeti, at noon you will leave to the Ngorongoro Crater. Both conservation areas are not separated by fences, on the way you can observe with some luck some more wildlife. You will spend the night at Rhino Lodge on the upper crater rim, where you can enjoy a spectacular view and a great sunset.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation and down to the crater for game drive.
The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago and it covers an area of 260 km². The Crater is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve that is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. After you descend into the Crater, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino.
Later on drive back to Arusha and to Arumeru River Lodge.
