In the morning, your personal safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha. The journey to Tarangire unfolds along a well-maintained tarmac road, traversing the picturesque Masai plains adorned with scattered acacia trees. Along the way, you'll encounter Maasai individuals donning vibrant attire, engaging in their daily activities, such as herding cattle and riding bicycles.
Tarangire National Park awaits, renowned for its vast elephant herds. From the elevated vantage point of your vehicle's open roof, you'll marvel at the park's diverse landscapes, including seasonal swamps, savannas, and the Tarangire River. Keep your eyes peeled for an array of wildlife, such as zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe. With luck, you might even spot a lion on the hunt or leopards lounging in the trees above.

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through the Rift Valley to the refreshing climes of the Ngorongoro highlands. The Ngorongoro Crater, a colossal volcanic caldera measuring nearly 20km wide and approximately 610m deep, awaits your exploration. Renowned for its astonishing biodiversity, the crater is home to the iconic "Big Five" – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, making it rightfully regarded as one of the world's natural wonders.
In addition to these majestic creatures, the crater's numerous springs attract a plethora of wildlife, including wildebeest, gazelles, reedbucks, and over 500 species of birds. Pause for a delightful picnic lunch at a scenic site before continuing your wildlife odyssey within the crater. As the afternoon unfolds, bid farewell to this natural marvel, ascending the steep crater rim road before returning to your hotel, having experienced the magnificence of Ngorongoro's wildlife-rich domain.

Dedicated entirely to exploration, this day unfolds with exhilarating game drives across the vast expanse of the Serengeti. Renowned for its rich biodiversity, the Serengeti teems with an array of wildlife, including impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo. However, it is the legendary migration of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests that truly captivates. Governed by the ebb and flow of rainfall, their migratory route shifts annually. In November and December, they traverse from the wooded hills of the north to the expansive southern plains, only to return during the extended rainy season from April to June.
While marveling at the mesmerizing spectacle of the migrating herds, keep an eye out for the Serengeti's resident predators—leopard, cheetah, and lion—embarking on their vital roles in the intricate web of life. As the sun sets on this extraordinary day, we retreat to our luxurious lodge, nestled amidst the endless plains, for a delectable dinner and a restful night's sleep.

You will spend a full day in this incredible place, exploring the park, its animals and incredible landscapes. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impalas, buffalo, crocodiles and hippos, but is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. Apart from the migrating herds, you may see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs and lions.
