Nairobi-Maasai Mara National Reserve

We will pick you from the hotel/Airport and drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewing point to take photos of the historical escarpment and for use of washrooms. Maasai Mara is part of the Serengeti vast plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration, and is home for the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. You will have an introductory game drive on this day. We later drive back to the camp or lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Maasai Mara Game Drive

We start our full day of game viewing in the reserve after breakfast. This area features picturesque rolling hills covered in savannah grassland. The reserve boasts the largest road and track network in Kenya, making it the ideal park for close-up viewing and photography during game drives. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool known as the Mara river famous for the greatest migration from Serengeti, while keeping an eye out for crocodiles and hippos. Before the picnic lunch you will visit the Mara River famous for greatest migration from Serengeti to this reserve, you will get a brief explanation about the river from armed guide. Later continue with the game drive in search of more animals until evening then exit the park. We’ll spend the evening and night at the campsite or lodge.

Maasai Mara-Nairobi

This day is spent for an optional activity of visiting a Maasai village where you may engage with the locals and learn more about their way of life, how they measure their wealth in terms of number of cattle's number of children then later dance with the Masai people. After this we leave for Nairobi, arriving in the evening, where you will be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight back home or at your Nairobi hotel.
