1-Day Taste of Lake Nakuru National Park

Start your journey early in the morning to make the most of your day. Enjoy the scenic drive from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Explore the diverse landscapes and keep an eye out for wildlife such as rhinos, giraffes, zebras, olive baboons and, of course, the famous flamingos inside Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a packed lunch inside the park. You will then drive back to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, transfer to JKIA for your flight back home or you will be dropped off at your pickup hotel.

Lake Nakuru National Park is best known for its vast and dynamic variety of birdlife, over 400 birds’ species exist here. You will interact with four of the Big Five at the park, excluding the elephant. The lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino.
