In the afternoon, you can opt for a boat ride on the lake at an extra cost, combined with a visit to Crescent Island Sanctuary, home to zebras, giraffes, and hippos, or explore Hell's Gate National Park. Hell’s Gate features dramatic landscapes, towering cliffs, gorges, and geothermal activity, offering optional activities like mountain biking and rock climbing. Dinner and overnight will be at your midrange hotel.

Day 2

Have breakfast at the resort. Depart and drive towards the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery having a stopover at the viewpoint en-route arriving at the pink lake often referred to due to its great masses of flamingos. Check-in at your hotel, have lunch, and after lunch proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park with numerous animals. During the game drive, you will see the huge numbers of flamingos that are concentrated along the lakeshore. In addition to the birdlife for which Lake Nakuru is so well known, there are many different wildlife species in the park including lion, leopard, black rhino, white rhino, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, zebra, impala, and waterbuck. Have an early breakfast. Depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve, which is located south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley, then past Narok, where you will climb the western wall that enters Hemingway's country: the 'Serengeti plains'. Arrive in time for lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and overnight will be served in your hotel.

Explore the Mara
Explore the Mara
Enjoy a full day at this famous reserve searching for a wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You can carry a picnic lunch or have lunch at the camp. A visit to Masai villages is also an option. Return to the luxury camp in the evening. The Mara is the land of African legend. Lions are abundant throughout the park, as are elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetahs and leopards are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhinos. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of bee-eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. Along with wildlife, the Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Masai people who may be seen around the borders of the park.

On arrival, and depending on your departure time, you may have lunch in Nairobi at one of the city hotels. Later you can do some last-minute shopping at one of the markets. After shopping, transfer to the airport to arrive in time for your international final departure, where your safari ends.
