Day 1

Nairobi - Maasai Mara

After breakfast in your hotel in Nairobi or the airport, you will be picked up by your professional guide and depart the Nairobi region for Maasai Mara. We drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will have a chance to take photos with a great view of the valley. Proceed to the Maasai Mara National Reserve and have lunch at Narok town.

This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains, famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. It is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. Upon arrival, check in, take your lunch and take your first thrilling game drive in the Maasai Mara, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver-guide. Dinner and overnight are at the camp or lodge.

After breakfast, you will depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game viewing in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. A Maasai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya. There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife, including the Big Five, and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Between July and October, things get busy in the great migration. Millions of zebras and wildebeests make the perilous journey across the Maasai Mara in search of new grazing territory. Day 3

Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru

Enjoy breakfast and have an optional activity at the Maasai village: dance with the Maasai, learn more about their culture, their way of living, and how they measure their wealth in terms of the number of cattle and children they have. Later, depart the Mara region for Nakuru with lunch en route, with scenic views of Mount Longmont and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in the evening and be dropped off at the hotel for your dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific birdlife, including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino, while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Later, you will drive to Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its scenery, with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the landscape and open plains. You will arrive late in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast at the camp, a true African experience awaits you in this park. You will set off early to see the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro and set off for another extensive game drive before the clouds build up over the summit. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, such as wildebeests and giraffes. You will spend a full day in the park with a packed lunch. Later, you will come back for dinner and overnight at the camp.
