Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Today, your safari adventure begins! After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel around 8:00am for a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. You'll reach the park gate around 10:00am and, after check-in, start your game drive. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and tree-climbing lions, as well as wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos. The park is also home to unique baobab trees, some over 8,000 years old. Lunch will be enjoyed at the Tarangire River picnic site, with expansive views over the plains. Afterward, continue with a game drive until late evening, then head to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, we’ll begin our 30-minute journey to the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. As seen from the Crater rim, this natural bowl, both vast and intimate, is one of Africa's most beautiful natural features. Within the crater, you’ll explore a rich, self-contained ecosystem protected by towering crater walls. Here, lions and hyenas hunt wildebeest and Grant's gazelle, with elephants and black rhinos also making appearances. The day offers diverse habitats to explore, from the Lereal forest and salty Lake Magadi to the rolling plains across the crater floor. Lunch will be served at the hippo pool picnic site, followed by more exploration until late evening, when you’ll head to your accommodations for dinner and your overnight stay.

After a tasty breakfast, we’ll depart Ngorongoro, winding through the Crater highlands en route to Serengeti National Park. This four-to-five-hour scenic drive offers views of stunning landscapes, Maasai villages, and wildlife before reaching the Serengeti. Upon arrival in the mid-afternoon, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness, taking in the vast Serengeti plains.
