Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park on a full-day game drive with picnic lunches. The journey will take you to Fig Tree Lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.
Lake Manyara stretches for 50km (31mi) along the 600m (2,000ft) high Rift Valley escarpment base. It is often described as a scenic gem with a setting that many visitors have praised as "the loveliest I had seen in Africa." The compact game-viewing circuit through Manyara offers a comprehensive experience of Tanzanian safari. The road winds through a lush, jungle-like groundwater forest from the entrance gate, where hundreds of baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside. Blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk loudly in the high canopy.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will head to Serengeti National Park for a game drive with picnic lunches. We will have dinner and stay overnight at a campsite inside the park.
During the annual pilgrimage, a million wildebeest, each driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfill their instinctive roles in the inescapable cycle of life. They engage in a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating, which leads to a brief population explosion, with over 8,000 wildebeest calves being born daily. After this, it is survival of the fittest as they brave crocodile-infested waters during their annual exodus to the north. The 1,000km (620mi) pilgrimage then begins all over again.
