Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred by private vehicle to the hotel, located just 2 miles from Victoria Falls. The hotel celebrates a unique African history and the inviting décor of the stylish rooms provides the ultimate in modern comfort.

The Victoria Falls National Park borders the front of the property and, as such, wild animals often graze on the hotel lawns. Warthogs, in particular, are common visitors and they are sure to delight and entertain you. You might even be lucky enough to witness a herd of elephants feasting on the trees while you relax on your private balcony.

We can arrange a private guided tour of the falls in advance, or any number of other activities for you (at an extra cost). Let us know what you have in mind. You stay for 2 nights, with breakfast included.

You’ll stay at the hotel on a bed-and-breakfast basis, so you can fuel up with a full breakfast before heading out on a thrilling day of adventure.

As the world’s largest curtain of falling water, Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls is a phenomenal natural wonder. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. It is an unmissable sight for any trip to Zimbabwe. What you decide to do at this incredible site depends on when you travel to Victoria Falls, as river levels dictate the possibilities. However, there’s always something to see or do.

You'll soak up the falls with a scenic and spray-filled river walk or boat ride, or swim in the Devil’s Pool, the world’s ultimate infinity pool. You'll see Victoria Falls from a bird's-eye view with a breathtaking helicopter ride or a micro-light flight over the gorge. We can even arrange white-water rafting, a lunar rainbow safari, cultural excursions, and rhino tracking.

Road Transfer to Chobe National Park

Road Transfer to Chobe National Park

After check-out at Vic Falls Safari Lodge, you'll have a transfer to Chobe. This involves crossing the country border from Zimbabwe into Botswana. Your driver will assist you with any paperwork, making it extremely easy and comfortable. You'll enjoy the sights along the way, taking in the atmosphere as you head further from town into the natural wonder of the Chobe National Park and riverfront.

Chobe Marina Lodge is a haven of peace and tranquillity outside the Chobe National Park. A quiet spot on one of the many expansive viewing decks, the jetty or comfortable lounge on the boardwalk is never far away. Each of the rooms is luxurious, with air conditioning and decor that you'll want to photograph to remember.

Day 4

Chobe Boat Safari and 4x4 Safaris

Chobe Boat Safari and 4x4 Safaris

6 am - 8:45 am: You'll enjoy the diversity of Chobe National Park’s abundant wildlife on guided 4-WD game drives. Also, you'll take in the beauty of the river on boat safaris, while witnessing the herds of game and prolific birdlife along the river banks.

9 am - 2 pm: You'll enjoy breakfast and lunch as well as rest.

3-6 pm - You'll have a boat safari in the Chobe River.

We hope you experience the thrill of moving almost silently through the bush on state-of-the-art electric safaris with Chobe Game Lodge.

Chobe National Park is famous for its wildlife densities, particularly the population of elephants, as it is thought to host some of the largest herds in the world. It is a park to visit all year round. There is always something to see, however, the peak season (July-October) is when the herds of elephants and buffalos might be at their greatest. That does mean it's also the busiest time for visitors.

You will have a morning safari and a transfer from Chobe Marina to Elephant Sands, a unique safari lodge located in the heart of the African bush.

Your guide leads you to Ntwetwe Pan, a pristine expanse of shimmering salt flats stretching as far as the eye can see.
You'll use sturdy tents, cozy sleeping bags, and camp chairs arranged around a crackling campfire.
As darkness descends, the vastness of the African sky comes alive with millions of twinkling stars. Your guide, well-versed in astronomy, points out constellations and shares fascinating stories about the celestial wonders above.
While dinner is prepared over an open flame, you'll sip on sundowner drinks and soak in the serenity of the surroundings, interrupted only by the occasional call of nocturnal birds and animals.
After a hearty dinner of traditional African cuisine, you'll gather around the campfire for a magical stargazing session. The absence of light pollution allows for unparalleled views of the Milky Way, shooting stars, and distant galaxies.
As the night progresses, you'll retire to your cozy tent, lulled to sleep by the gentle sounds of the African bush.

As dawn breaks on the horizon, you'll awaken to the soft glow of the rising sun, casting hues of pink and gold across the salt flats.
After a leisurely breakfast, you'll pack up your campsite, leaving no trace of your overnight stay on the pristine landscape.
With memories of a night spent under the stars etched into your mind, you bid farewell to Ntwetwe Pan. You will embark on an exhilarating quad bike safari across the Ntwetwe Pan, exploring the expansive salt flats and encountering desert-adapted wildlife.
You'll return to Planet Baobab in the afternoon, where you can relax by the lodge's pool or enjoy a refreshing drink at the bar.

This morning, depending on the time of your flight are transferred to Maun Airport to fly to the Okavango Delta. You'll marvel at the environment on the approx 40-min flight, as you watch it change from the lush Chobe riverfront, through the scrub of the Savute to the jewel of Botswana’s crown —the Okavango Delta. The inland delta once flowed to the sea, but now the rains that fall on the Angolan Highlands follow the same course but with no escape. They settle on the flat Kalahari sand, forming a myriad of channels, marshes, lakes, and islands.

Upon arrival at the bush airstrip, you will be met by your guide and taken to Obona Moremi Lodge. You'll settle into camp or head out on a safari with your guide. You have 2 nights here, with all meals and activities included. You’ll have the chance to see elephants, giraffes, leopards, lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, jackals, hyenas, impalas, lechwe, honey badgers, baboons, and even wild dogs.

You'll spend the full day exploring Moremi Game Reserve and the Okavango Delta, embarking on morning and afternoon safari drives.
You'll cruise along tranquil waterways in traditional mokoro canoes, gliding past hippos, crocodiles, and a myriad of bird species.
You'll experience the Okavango Delta on guided walking safaris, tracking animals on foot, and learning about the region's unique ecosystem.
Water-based wildlife-viewing activities at the cam are conducted by experienced professional guides who will expertly navigate guests through the many meandering, reed-lined waterways. You'll roam the vast expanses of water from the comfort of a modern motorboat or explore the intricacies of the Okavango Delta the old-fashioned way, in the traditional contours of the mokoro (canoe).
Guided bush walks are conducted on nearby islands, offering an opportunity to track some of the larger land-based species. Camp Okavango has bream and tiger fishing, plus outstanding bird-watching opportunities.

Safaris and Fly to Maun for Departure

Today, you'll check out of the lodge and are transferred back to the light aircraft strip for your short flight of approx. 30 mins to Maun. Maun is the hub for delta safaris, as well as safaris into the Central Kalahari and Salt Pans. If you have longer than 7 days, let us know if you'd like to add a couple of nights in another dramatically different region of central Botswana.

Maun itself can offer a nice place to relax at the end of your safari with lovely souvenir shopping, so depending on your international flight times and pace of travel, we can add a night here.

Upon arrival at Maun Airport, your safari travel comes to an end, but with memories and photographs that will last a lifetime.
