Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport or your hotel at 8:00 a.m. and then taken on a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Once there, you will enjoy a full-day game drive within the park. Afterwards, you will head to Fig Tree Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is located 115km from Arusha and spans an area of 2800 square kilometers. The park is named after the Tarangire River, where many wild animals come to drink. The park's main attractions include a large population of elephants, tree-climbing pythons, and baobab trees. You will also have the chance to see lions, leopards, and other wildlife. Your day will conclude with an overnight stay at Fig Tree Lodge near Lake Manyara.

After waking up this morning, you'll enjoy a hearty breakfast before packing your luggage into the safari jeep. You'll then embark on a game drive towards the Serengeti, having lunch inside the jeep. Along the way, you'll take in the stunning views of the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater, arriving in the Serengeti around 3:00 p.m.

In the late afternoon, you'll go on a sunset game drive in central Serengeti, where you'll witness a breathtaking sunset. Following this, you'll have dinner and spend the night at Seronera Campsite within the Serengeti.

The Serengeti's main attractions are its vast plains and the famous wildebeest migration, which includes various herbivores and their predators. Due to drought, predators often move across different parts of the Serengeti. Our driver guide will ensure you get to see part of the wildebeest migration.

Your day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay at Seronera Campsite in Serengeti National Park.

Day 3

Western Serengeti National Park

On this day, you will wake up early morning and have your full breakfast then you will start your game drive inside Serengeti. As you will have a full day in Serengeti, our driver will drive you to the key areas in Serengeti. We will make sure that you will follow wildebeest migration during your tour with us.

The great wildebeest migration varies every year the best chance of seeing it is from June up to September while the wildebeest calving is from January to March for July up to September. A million and a half of these majestic animals travel throughout the year as they look for fresh grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for better water sources. After your full-day game drive, you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Your day will end with dinner and an overnight stay inside Serengeti National Park Seronera Campsite.

Day 4

Southern Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

You will wake up at 5:45 a.m. for an early breakfast and to watch the sunrise in the Serengeti. After breakfast, you'll embark on an early morning game drive until 11:30 a.m. Following the game drive, you'll return to the campsite for a hot lunch and pack your belongings into the jeep.

After lunch, you'll continue with a game drive in the Serengeti while making your way to Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll have dinner and spend the night at Simba Campsite.

Your day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Crater Simba Campsite.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

You'll wake up around 5:30 a.m. to have breakfast. After that, you'll head down to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll get to spot all the Big Five animals. The crater is also home to various bird species and black rhinos. You'll enjoy lunch amidst the stunning scenery and a flock of flamingos.

Following 6 to 7 hours of exploring and observing wildlife in the crater, you'll begin your ascent, passing the campsite to collect your belongings and load them into the jeep. Then, you'll drive back to Fig Tree Lodge for dinner and to spend the night.

During the day, you'll also take a walking tour of Mto wa Mbu village, where you'll get a glimpse of local life, see banana plantations, and even have the opportunity to taste some local dishes.

Your day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay at Fig Tree Lodge.

Following your morning meal, you'll venture to Lake Manyara for an entire day of exploring the park's wildlife. Prepare to witness the remarkable sight of lions perched in trees and vibrant flamingos drawn to the lake's algae. You'll also have the opportunity to visit a natural hot spring. Additionally, during the same day, you'll stop by a Maasai Boma to observe their way of life and gain insight into their rich culture and traditions. Finally, you'll return to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay, or alternatively, head directly to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport.
