The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, we'll embark on a full-day game drive to the best spots to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, and classic herbivores like elephants, wildebeests, buffaloes, and gazelles.

The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in the whole northern circuit.

You'll enjoy the less crowded, more active scene in Tarangire as the day progresses, then after we'll Lodge in an authentic wilderness Lodge for a peaceful night's rest.

Begin with an early morning game drive at 6:00 am. By late morning, we'll check out of Tarangire and head to Osupuko Tarangire Lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a cultural trip in Mto wa Mbu, visiting farms, waterfalls, and biking.

After refreshing and dinner, we'll set off for a night game drive in Lake Manyara National Park at 8:00 pm, where you'll see nocturnal animals in a tranquil wilderness.

After breakfast, you will drive from Karatu town to the Serengeti, a journey of approximately 6 hours, including all stops, as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Stop at: Ngorongoro Crater Viewpoint for stunning views and photos
We will pause briefly at the gate and the viewpoint to admire the breathtaking views of the crater.

Arrive in the late afternoon for lunch, followed by an evening game drive in Seronera, the heart of the Serengeti, lasting until late evening. Experience the sunset in the Serengeti while observing wildlife up close.

After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in the Serengeti, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife is most active. This is an excellent time to spot predators like lions and cheetahs on the prowl, as well as herds of grazers such as zebras and antelopes.

Return to The Lodge for lunch, enjoying a final meal in the Serengeti. Afterward, begin your journey back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers stunning views and the chance to see more wildlife along the way.

Arrive at Marera Valley Lodge in the late afternoon, located some distance on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the evening relaxing, enjoying a hearty dinner, and preparing for an early descent into the crater the next morning. Take some time to appreciate the star-filled night sky and the sounds of the wild before turning in for the night.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at 6:15 am to search for the elusive black rhino. The crater floor, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a unique ecosystem with a dense concentration of wildlife, making wildlife spotting relatively easy. As you explore, you'll have the chance to see the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—along with a variety of other animals such as hippos, wildebeests, and zebras.

Enjoy lunch in a scenic picnic spot by the hippo pool, where you can watch these massive creatures wallow in the water while birds flit around. After lunch, continue your game drive, taking in the diverse landscapes, from lush grasslands to acacia forests, and observing the rich birdlife, including flamingos on the central soda lake.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater, soaking in the breathtaking panoramic views. Return to your Lodge, reflecting on the day’s incredible wildlife encounters and the beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast, embark on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park, a small yet diverse park offering unique experiences. Despite its compact size, the park boasts epic landscapes, with the Great Rift Escarpment towering over its western boundary.

The namesake shallow salt lake is a focal point, hosting thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and over 500 other bird species, as it fluctuates with the seasons. Keep an eye out for baboons and elephants in the lush evergreen forest, and don't miss the chance to spot the famous tree-climbing lions that have garnered acclaim throughout Africa.
