Depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, renowned for its stunning scenery and abundant wildlife. It is one of the few places in Kenya where visitors can see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, then embark on an afternoon game drive in this vast and expansive reserve teeming with wildlife. Keep an eye out for the famous Big Five—black-maned lions, Cape buffalo, savannah elephants, black rhinos, and elusive leopards. The savannah grasslands, stretching as far as the eye can see, are also home to impalas, Maasai giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, Thompson and Grant gazelles, topis, and resident wildebeests, among many others.

After lunch, head out for another exciting game drive, delving deeper into the reserve's abundant wildlife. Optional activity for today begins just before dawn. Flames from the hot air balloon burners light the darkness as the crew inflates their craft. The first, pink tongues of sunlight flicker across the skies and the hot air balloon fills then rises. Suspended in a basket beneath the rainbow-colored canopy, you're off for a game viewing adventure with an entirely different perspective.

Masai Mara - Nairobi & Depart

After breakfast, check out and bid goodbye to your lodge manager, taking with you photographs capturing the special moments of your tour. Drive to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. After lunch, you will be transferred to your Nairobi hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
