Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After your breakfast, at around 8:30 am, our professional guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park in a Land cruiser. You will cross the Maasai Steppe along the way to the park. You should arrive in Tarangire National Park around 10:15 AM ready for a full day of game viewing.

You will have an amazing view of so many wild animals at this park. From herds of elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and zebras, to big cats such as lions and leopards, plus hyenas, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and many more. Lunch will be provided at the picnic area and the safari shall proceed afterward. You'll take time to explore the Tarangire River's twists and turns, where you will find various animals drinking water and playing in the catchment areas. The Tarangire National Park is well known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees that fill the landscape beautifully.

In the evening, you will be driven to Osupuko Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. You can upgrade your accommodation.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

You will have an early breakfast before you set out to Lake Manyara National Park for a sunrise game drive. The lush gardens of Manyara provide fantastic viewing while driving through. The park itself has amazing landscapes that are difficult to describe with its giant figs, mahogany trees, and acacia forest. This is one of the few places where you can find tree-climbing lions in the daytime. The lake itself is shallow and alkaline and therefore attracts lots of bird species and animals too. It is estimated to have over 450 bird species.

Elephant herds love drinking and playing in the refreshing waters of the river, which is home to lots of flamingos. Elands and zebras join in to water and grassy plains. This park also has a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys.

In the afternoon, you will transfer back to Arusha to complete your short safari with us.
