Our journey begins with a hotel/lodge pickup. Before setting off on our safari adventure, we'll make a quick stop at the supermarket for any last-minute items. Then, we'll head to Tarangire National Park for a game drive and picnic lunch. Tarangire is known for its big elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. It's a key spot in the migration cycle, hosting thousands of elephants, wildebeests, and zebras each year.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Serengeti National Park, spotting leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetahs during our game drive. Keep an eye out for buffaloes, zebras, and gazelles too. After a thrilling day, we'll return to Matawi Tented Camp for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Waking up in the Serengeti is an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by Africa's sights, sounds, and smells, we're ready for a day of adventure in this iconic national park. After breakfast, we'll start our morning game drive, searching for the Big 5. We'll continue exploring until late afternoon, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way. As the day goes on, the Serengeti's beauty unfolds, with diverse animals and birds as the stars of the show. Natural wonders may surprise us at any moment. Animals don't follow a schedule, so we might spot lions, leopards, elephants, or zebras during our drives. After a thrilling day, we'll return to our tented camp for dinner and a good night's sleep. Optional air balloon experiences are available upon request for an additional charge.

Day 4

Serengeti NP to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti NP to Ngorongoro Crater

Today, we'll spend most of our time at the 'Hippo Pool,' watching animals cool off in the water. You'll see big hippos and crocodiles chilling there. If we're lucky, we might catch a glimpse of a pride of lions, as well as wildebeests and zebras migrating nearby. Then, we'll head to the Kopjes, where volcanic rocks create shelters for various animals. From there, you'll enjoy a bird's eye view of the vast Serengeti plains. In the afternoon, we'll head to the Ngorongoro conservation area, where we'll stay at a cozy lodge for dinner and a good night's sleep before our crater adventure tomorrow.

Today, we'll explore the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, one of East Africa's best places to see the 'Big Five' animals – elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, lions, and leopards. It's also a chance to meet the Maasai people, adding cultural richness to our safari. The crater and surrounding hills create a breathtaking landscape, with fertile grazing lands set against volcanic craters. After a delicious lunch by the hippo lake, we'll enjoy another wildlife drive in the afternoon. Then, we'll head back to Arusha to wrap up your safari.
