1-Day Trip Safari to Mikumi National Park

Embark on your day trip safari from Dar es Salaam at 4:30 AM. After a four-hour drive, arrive in Mikumi, with a refreshing breakfast stop in Morogoro Town along the way. From there, a short one-hour drive brings you to the entry gate of Mikumi National Park.

From 8:40 AM to 4:30 PM, immerse yourself in the wonders of Mikumi National Park on a comprehensive game drive. Explore its vast savannah plains, woodlands, and waterholes, seeking out a variety of animals. Elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, lions, leopards, and crocodiles are among the many species you may encounter. Capture unforgettable moments against the backdrop of stunning landscapes. After lunch at the picnic site and an extensive game drive, begin the journey back towards the main gate.

At 4:40 PM, commence the return journey to Dar es Salaam from Mikumi National Park, a roughly five-hour drive. Relax in the safari vehicle as you reflect on the memorable experiences and photographs captured during the game drive.
