Game drive in Tarangire National Park

After clearing customs and immigration formalities at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet your driver and head to Tarangire National Park. We recommend arriving early to fully enjoy your day on safari. If you arrive late, we advise spending the night in Arusha city and proceeding with the safari the next day. The drive may take up to two hours from the airport. Upon arrival, you will start your game drive and continue until the evening. We will stop for lunch at a picnic site inside the park, and dinner will be served at your lodge.

The park's name comes from the Tarangire River, which is the only source of water for wildlife during the Dry season. The park is well known for its large herds of elephants, giant baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. Other wildlife includes predators and herbivores such as lions, leopards, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, and buffalos, as well as various bird and plant species.
