The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, we'll embark on a full-day game drive, exploring the best spots to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, and classic herbivores like elephants, wildebeests, buffaloes, and gazelles.
The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in the northern circuit. Tarangire's diverse landscapes, from swamps to open grasslands, offer unique and less crowded game viewing opportunities. You may also spot tree-climbing pythons and various bird species, adding to the park's allure.
As the day progresses, enjoy the active wildlife scenes that Tarangire has to offer. After an exciting day of exploration, we'll head to an authentic wilderness lodge, where you can unwind and relish a peaceful night's rest amidst the natural beauty of the African bush. Drive To Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint
After breakfast, you will drive from Lodge to the Serengeti, a journey of approximately 4 hours, including all stops, as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
We will pause briefly at the gate of the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint to admire the breathtaking views of the crater, offering an excellent photo opportunity and a chance to learn more about this unique ecosystem.
After settling in, head out for an evening game drive in Seronera, the heart of the Serengeti. This area is renowned for its dense wildlife populations, including lions, leopards, elephants, and herds of herbivores. The drive will last until late afternoon, allowing you to experience the magical Serengeti sunset.
As you observe wildlife up close, you might witness predator-prey interactions and other fascinating behaviors. The sunset drive offers the best chance to see nocturnal animals beginning to emerge. Return to your lodge for an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Game Drive in Serengeti Then Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in the Serengeti, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife is most active. This is an excellent time to spot predators like lions and cheetahs on the prowl, as well as herds of grazers such as zebras and antelopes.
Return to The Lodge for lunch, enjoying a final meal in the Serengeti. Afterward, begin your journey back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers stunning views and the chance to see more wildlife along the way.
Arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge in the late afternoon, located some distance on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the evening relaxing, enjoying a hearty dinner, and preparing for an early descent into the crater the next morning. Take some time to appreciate the star-filled night sky and the sounds of the wild before turning in for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive Then Back To Arusha/Airport
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at 6:15 am to search for the elusive black rhino. The crater floor, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a unique ecosystem with a dense concentration of wildlife, making wildlife spotting relatively easy. As you explore, you'll have the chance to see the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—along with a variety of other animals such as hippos, wildebeests, and zebras.
Enjoy lunch in a scenic picnic spot by the hippo pool, where you can watch these massive creatures wallow in the water while birds flit around. After lunch, continue your game drive, taking in the diverse landscapes, from lush grasslands to acacia forests, and observing the rich birdlife, including flamingos on the central soda lake.
In the afternoon, ascend the crater, soaking in the breathtaking panoramic views. Drive back to Arusha City or the Airport with plenty of photo opportunities along the way. And here, our tour comes to an end.
