Day 1-3

Introduction & briefly on what to expect by your safari guide, before you get ready to head out for Jao Reserve. Drop-off at the mokoro station, transfer to the camp spot by a mokoro dugout canoe, find camp already set, relax and get ready for an early start tomorrow. We have a 3 nights stay here. Experience Jao Reserve in the cool morning, an early game drive that exposes us to diverse animals, Big 5 members Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards more times in the evening, warthogs - Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along the trails as we drive along. After lunch get ready for the Classic highlights on the 2hrs Boat cruise on the famous Okavango channel. Here you can see land and water Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning and some slashing canines to each other, the National Geographical society Killing machine the Nile Crocodile gaping along the Banks. Enjoy birding as we our Safari guide is a birding specialist.

Day 4-6

Early morning after breakfast, we head out for Xaxaba with mokoro or boat, leaving our safari crew to break the camp. One of the best known water based concessions, the Xaxaba Concession lies in the permanent delta and borders the famous Chief’s Island region of the Moremi Game Reserve. The area changes hugely with the floods as three quarters of the area is seasonally inundated. We spend another 3 nights here, you will also enjoy mokoro(dug-out canoe)trip exploring the water ways of the delta. As per the interest of the client, walking activity can be done whereby our expert guide led a walking safari. Walking in the bush with a professional guide is an exhilarating experience. It is a special experience to go in a small boat searching the channels of the delta. Expect mokoro trips in traditional canoes, fishing, and visits to the community people to learn about their ancient culture. Celebrate golden hour in a special sundowner spot on the banks of the intricate waterways.

Day 7
Xaxaba to Maun
Xaxaba to Maun
Today is your last day in Botswana. Enjoy your final morning activities, Share your safari experience with your safari team, good-bye to each other, followed by a leisurely breakfast before being collected at the camp and transferred through to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Maun International Airport, where you board your connecting flight back home.
