Your pick-up will be arranged from either your hotel or upon arrival at Entebbe Airport. Your designated English-speaking tour driver-guide will greet you and begin the journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Mburo is a compact park conveniently situated near the highway linking Entebbe/Kampala to western Uganda's parks.
Despite being Uganda's smallest savannah national park, it boasts a diverse ecosystem with 350 bird species and wildlife including giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, Defassa waterbucks, hippos, and occasionally leopards. Upon arrival, you will check in relax and have lunch.
After Lunch, you can embark on a late afternoon-to-evening game drive and then cycling tours.
Later you will return to your lodge to enjoy the evening sunset and dinner.

Morning Nature Walk and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You'll enjoy an early breakfast and then embark on an exhilarating morning game drive in the park. Look forward to encountering the impressive eland antelopes, large herds of zebras, topi, impalas, buffaloes, and other savannah animals. Alternatively, you have the option to participate in a morning bush walk (available at an additional cost of USD 30 per person) accompanied by an armed ranger-guide. Afterward, you'll return to your accommodation, check out, and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Bwindi is renowned for its substantial population of mountain gorillas in Uganda, housing over 300 individuals—approximately half of the world's population—comprising several habituated groups available for trekking. Upon arrival, you'll take it easy, check into your accommodation, and relax in preparation for the gorilla trekking experience scheduled for the following morning.

Gorilla Trekking Bwindi Forest and Batwa Cultural Immersion
After breakfast, you'll proceed to the rangers’ post where you will receive a briefing on the guidelines for trekking. Following this, you'll enter Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The rainforest's beauty is breathtaking, with steeply forested landscapes and dense vegetation crisscrossed by numerous animal trails accessible to tourists. The duration of the trek and the terrain depend on the movements of the gorillas.
Upon locating a gorilla group, you will have an hour to observe these gentle yet endangered giants, an experience that is truly unforgettable.
After the trek, you'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. This lake is surrounded by lush, terraced hills rising between 2,200 and 2,478 meters in height, but its most enchanting feature is its 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water, creating a magical sight that could captivate you all day.

Depart Bunyonyi and Return to Entebbe to Catch Flight out of the Pearl of Africa
You'll enjoy a leisurely breakfast while taking in the stunning view of the picturesque Bunyonyi islands right in front of you.
