Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You'll be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi Hotel by our driver/guide accompanied by a representative from Beyond the Plains Kenya Safaris. Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy scenic drive, passing through typical African savannah and local villages. Arrive in Amboseli National Park in good time for lunch and check into your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive in Amboseli, renowned for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day in Amboseli

Start the day with an early morning game drive to capture the wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro at sunrise. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. Mid-morning, you can opt for a cultural visit to a local Maasai village (optional) to learn about the Maasai way of life. After lunch, head out for another game drive exploring different areas of the park, with opportunities to see elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli to Lake Nakuru via Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with a stop at Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a boat safari on Lake Naivasha, where you can see hippos and a variety of bird species up close. After the boat safari, take a walking safari at Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, offering the unique opportunity to walk among zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife in a safe environment. Continue your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at the park and check into your lodge. Spend the evening relaxing at the lodge. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Our driver/guide will then drop you off at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport for your onward journey.
