Day 1

Upon arrival at the Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our Safari365 representatives and then transferred to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge - your base for the next 2 nights. This is situated 4km outside of Victoria Falls town. After checking in, you can take a complimentary shuttle through to the town where you can stop by the village market or explore what the town has to offer. In the evening join the famous Boma dinner & drum show with return transport.

Day 2

This morning after a hearty buffet breakfast, you will join a guided tour of the Victoria Falls. Upon returning to the hotel, enjoy a delicous lunch at MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant (Table d'hotel menu). This restaurant overlooks an active watering hole. In the late afternoon there is a scenic luxury sunset cruise on the Zambezi Explorer on the mightly Zambezi River. Included in the cruise is an exciting range of beverages and cocketails as well as a selection of gourmet snacks. This is the perfect cruise to get a closer look at the wildlife and birds on the river bank. In the evening after the cruise, sit down at the award-winning MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant for dinner. There is an extensive menu such as coconut crusted bream fillet or slow cooked coffee infused beef short ribs.

Day 3

Hwange National Park

Hwange National Park

Today, after a delicous breakfast, transfer back to the Victoria Falls Airport. From here take a 45-minute light aircraft flight through to Hwange National Park landing at Manga Airstrip which is situated close to the Makona Natonal Parks headquarters and Hwange Main Camp. From Manga Airstrip one of the lodge staff will meet and transfer you to Somalisa Camp, which is just 30 minutes scenic drive away. Spend 3 safari filled nights in Hwange which is known for one of the densest concentrations of widlife in Africa. There is year-round wildlife viewing. In the afternoon, join your first Hwange game drive with many idyllic viewing spots for Big 5 for a true wilderness experience. With the location of Somalisa Camp for this Zimbabwe safari, you can also enjoy an arm chair safari as there are waterholes in front of the camp, making for a varied wildlife safari in Zimbabwe.

Day 4-5

Situated in the heart of Hwange National Park, you can enjoy daily game drives and guided walking safaris along a seasonal flood plain. Consisting of seven elegantly furnished en-suite sail tents with sliding doors that open to the sweeping views of Hwange National Park. During the day you can also relax on the large wooden deck in the main area with a refreshing swimming pool. The local guides are very passionate and you can often see elephant, kudu, sable antelope, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, hyena, roan antelope, wildebeest, gemsbok, zebra and more.

Day 6

Matusadona National Park

This morning you will be collected from your camp after a morning game drive and breakfast and transferred back to the local airstrip. From here take a light aircraft flight through to Lake Kariba.. On arrival at the majestic Bumi Hills Safari Lodge for the next leg of this Zimbabwe safari, soak up the incredible views and decide with your host which of your included nature activities you'd like to do this afternoon. As night falls, enjoy a sumptuous dinner prepared with locally sourced ingredients served in the immaculate restaurant.
