Day 1

Pick up at the airport/Hotel tour starts from Nairobi driving to Amboseli. The morning journey shall take us via the Nairobi- Mombasa highway. The scenic drive is via open Africa with expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai community and their cattle. You arrive at the Amboseli national park in time for a welcome shower, refreshments, and have lunch, followed by an afternoon game viewing drive scheduled when animals are at their most active. Weather permitting the Mount Kilimanjaro snow-capped peaks shall be visible during the afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner & overnight at Amboseli Ol Tukai Lodge.

Day 2

Amboseli national Park

Amboseli national Park

This will be a full day of game viewing drives. There will be plenty of time to soak up the wildlife and the magnificent scenery. Moreover, we’ve allowed time for relaxation as well. There will be an early morning game drive. Then breakfast will be followed by a mid-morning drive. After a comfortable lunch, we’ll set out on a later afternoon game drive. Between the wildlife viewing sessions, relax at your Ol Tukai lodge to enjoy lodge facilities that include soaking yourself at the supper swimming pool, taking a rest at the sundeck, grab some souvenir from the gift shop, or simply enjoying your class of African brew (tasker) from the spacious interior bar with terrace. Guests can also enjoy guided walks, bird-watching walks under the guidance of a professional birding guide among others. And of coz, your safari vehicle and driver/ guide are at your disposal for even more game viewing drives.

Day 3

Lake Naivasha

Wake up for a clear view of Mount Kilimanjaro to capture the warm sunrise over the roof of Africa, as you also enjoy your last day game drive in Amboseli National Park. Drive back to the lodge for breakfast and later exit the park with game en-route and proceed to the Lake Naivasha at the floors of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch followed by a viewing lake animals at Lake Naivasha where you view exotic birdlife and hippos amid the serenity of this freshwater rift valley lake. Thereafter, you can choose to take a boat ride to the Crescent Island(optional at an extra cost), where you will enjoy a guided walking safari mingling freely with the animals such as Girraffe, hippopotamus Bat Eared fox(optional at an extra cost). Dinner and overnight back to the lodge.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru National Park

Morning breakfast at the lodge later exits to discover Lake Naivasha’s hidden treasure in Hells gate National park. We shall hire bikes and cycle to the nearby Hell’s gate national park where you explore on foot/Naturehike this canyon as you spot small games. Later a short 1-hour drive will take us to the Lake Nakuru National park. Birdlife abounds with flamingoes seen in their thousands together with pelicans and other bird species. The lake Nakuru national park is home to the black and white rhino species, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffes, and many more. Kindly note that we may choose to visit Lake Bogoria instead if you are keener on flamingo viewing) Dinner and overnight at the Lake Nakuru lodge.

Day 5

Maasai Mara National Reserve

An early bird and game viewing drive as you exit the lake Nakuru national park. Proceed to the Masai Mara game reserve to arrive in good time for lunch. Check-in, have lunch, and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing in your tent waiting for the late evening when the temperature cools to head out on your first Mara game drive where we will get a chance to see Nocturnal animals. Masai Mara is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves brimming with abundant wildlife and birdlife. Game viewing is spectacular year-round; Witness a pride of lions stalking their prey, observe a herd of elephants and their fascinating social structure, or see pods of hippo wallowing in the rivers. The great wildebeest migration is one of nature’s wonders; an estimated two million animals migrate in a year-round pattern through Tanzania and Kenya, following the rain. Back at Muthu Keekorok Lodge, dinner is served.

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop-shop for game viewing activities. Traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch serves at Mara River where we also ditch the car and experience a walking safari (at an extra cost) with an armed Ranger along the River watching Hippos and other wildlife species. We shall visit the Mara river where we may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration. Thereafter, you will go back to your lodge for dinner and refreshening.
