Day 1

To Kibale National Park

To Kibale National Park

Early in the morning, we will leave for Kibale Forest National Park, which is about 280km via Kampala to the Fort Portal road. We will arrive in time for the afternoon trekking. At 2 pm, we will start with the 4-hour chimp walk, during which you may also get to see 10 other primate species.

We will depart Kibale National Park and sleep in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 2

In Queen Elizabeth National Park

In Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the early morning, a game drive will be conducted on the plains of Queen Elizabeth NP, with thousands of Uganda kobs, lions, elephants, etc. Also on the programme is a 2-hour launch trip on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon, where we will see all the animals from the waterside. A late afternoon game drive will be conducted after the launch trip.

To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

An early morning game drive will be conducted in the Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth as we leave the park and head for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

The scenic route runs through verdant countryside while you pass traditional homesteads and farms.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking

Gorilla Trekking

This is the day of gorilla tracking. At 7:45 am, you will be at the office for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a pre-briefing, and at 8:30 am, you will start the trek. After finding the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour. All visitors are expected back at the starting point by 7 pm. Being physically fit is recommended.

We will proceed to Lake Bunyonyi for our overnight stay.

After the challenging and strenuous hike in Bwindi the previous day, some relaxing moments on the shores of this peaceful lake are most welcome. The options here are birding, nature walks, swimming or canoeing. You can decide on which activity to undertake on this day.

To Entebbe Airport

The last part of the journey will take us to Entebbe Airport in the early morning. On the way back after Masaka, we will stop at the equator for photo shoots, buy souvenirs and have lunch. We will then transfer you to Entebbe Airport.
