Our guide/driver will pick you up from your hotel after you have had breakfast in the morning. You will then embark on a 4-hour journey to the southern part of Uganda, specifically to Lake Mburo National Park. The road is well-paved and will take you through several stretches of papyrus swamps, rain forests, and Ankole cattle farms. Upon reaching the park, you will be taken to your hotel for check-in, lunch, and refreshments. After checking in and some relaxation time, the driver will take you on the first game drive to spot giraffes, buffaloes, bush babies, zebras, elands, antelopes, and many other animals along the Kigambira loop trail. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for dinner.

Ankole cattle visit & afternoon boat trip
You will wake up early and have breakfast before joining an exciting cultural tour to one of the local communities of Bahima herdsmen. You will have the opportunity to experience the hidden treasures of their culture. Be prepared to arrive at one of the Bahima's homesteads early as in the morning for a milking exercise. Here, you will be guided to the Kraal for different activities associated with the milking routine. If you would like to try milking by yourself, you will be provided with milking equipment, including a milking pail, known as Ekyanzi, and a milking rope and you will gain deeper understanding of this particular culture. Afterwards, you'll return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, you will head out for an exciting boat ride to encounter aquatic residents of Lake Mburo. Thereafter you will proceed with another game drive along the Kazuma track. The Kazuma track offers amazing views of the park including the rolling hills and all the five lakes.

Nature walk and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will head out for a nature walk in the park accompanied by an armed ranger. The nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park will allow you to get up close and personal with wildlife, providing a thrilling and intimate experience. You will be able to observe the animals' behavior, habitat, and social structures in a way that's not possible from a vehicle. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for check-out and embark on the journey to the accommodation in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a long day of traveling, you will not do much on this day but only check-in and relax as you wait for your dinner and Gorilla trekking the next day.

Gorilla trekking
Trekking to see gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a fantastic experience that involves navigating through dense forest in search of these incredible creatures. The hike through the forest is rewarding in itself, even before encountering the gorillas.
In the morning, after an early breakfast and with packed lunch in hand, your driver guide will take you to the briefing centre. Here, you will receive a briefing from a park ranger guide on how to prepare for the gorilla trek. Your ranger guide will lead the way, starting on well-cleared paths before venturing into the bushes and thickets. Before long, you will be in sight of the gorillas. You will spend a maximum of one-hour taking observations; photographs and watching Gorillas feed or play around.
After the trek, you will return to the starting point and meet your guide to drive you back to the accommodation and evening relaxation. Alternately, you can visit the Batwa community (Extra cost $40 per person).

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & afternoon boat trip at Kazing channel
After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the renowned National Parks in Uganda. The drive will take you through Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions. These lions are known to climb fig trees after their meals to rest, enjoy the breeze, and easily watch their prey due to the tall savanna grass. However, you will gain deeper knowledge of the different theories as to why they climb the trees.
Upon arrival, you will check in at the accommodation for lunch and a short rest. Later in the afternoon, you embark on an exciting boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, towards Lake Edward. During the cruise, you will have the opportunity to observe various wild animals coming to drink, as well as diverse bird species that inhabit the area. Expect to see crowds of Nile crocodiles sunbathing along the banks, hippos, buffaloes as well as pink-backed pelicans, herons, saddle-billed stork and cormorants.

Game viewing and transfer to Kibale National Park
Wake up early and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Afterward, go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) is the home to over 95 species of mammals, including the famous tree-climbing lions. Additionally, the park is a habitat for over 600 species of birds. The park boasts diverse habitats such as savannahs, forests, and wetlands, which provide a home for a wide range of wildlife.
The abundance of wildlife offers fantastic opportunities for game viewing in the morning, as this is when predators are actively hunting for prey and before they retreat into hiding. You'll have the chance to see incredible species such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs, among others. At around 11:00 am you will return to the accommodation for check out and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. You will arrive at the accommodation in Kibale in time for lunch. Then you'll have the afternoon to rest.

Chimpanzee trekking
Kibale National Park houses a large population of over 1,500 chimpanzees. Trekking in this forest provides a unique and unforgettable experience, allowing you to connect with nature and witness these magnificent creatures up close.
Your day will start with an early breakfast, followed by a briefing at the Kibale National Park offices about the rules and requirements for tracking chimpanzees. After the briefing, you will be given walking sticks and guided into the forest to locate the primates. Typically, chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park takes between 2 to 5 hours. Once you find them, you will have the opportunity to observe the chimpanzees foraging for food, playing, and interacting with each other.
After the trek, you will return to your hotel for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you will embark on a Bigodi wetland walk that offers a close encounter with nature, allowing you to appreciate the sanctuary's wildlife and spot a variety of monkey and bird species.

Transfer back to Kampala
After having breakfast, check out of your accommodation and begin your return journey to Entebbe Airport for your departure. Don't forget to take a break at the Uganda Equator line for some memorable photos during your safari in the Pearl of Africa. Afterwards, continue to Entebbe Airport where your driver/guide will drop you off.
