Day 1-3

Meet your Birding specialized guide at Maun International Airport, briefy before we head out for Xaxaba. Located between Chief's Island and Eagle Island, Xaxaba Camp offers a fantastic authentic and rustic safari experience in a pristine environment. Xaxaba Camp offers traditional mokoro or canoe rides along the crystal clear waterways of the Okavango Delta and walking safaris through the game-rich Chief's Island. Also bird life life is amazing, we shall do more birding while on walks. Our professional birding guide shall do specialized birding as bird life is excellent here. You will stay here in our tented safari accommodation, where you have a beautiful view of the delta. Around camp fire, you can enjoy the setting sun. 3 nights stay we start the day with a nice game drive in Okavango Delta. Then we take a mokoro trip on the Chief’s Island. After the mokoro trip, you drive back to Island and make beautiful game drives along the way. It is also possible to do a walking safaris.

Day 4

Today it is time to move on to Maun. On the way, we stop for lunch at the spotted beautiful shade, and then we arrive at your place to sleep, which is in a mid- range lodge B&B accommodation. We overnight here for 1 night before heading out for Moremi the nest day.

Day 5-7
Moremi Game Reserve
Moremi Game Reserve
We depart Maun early morning and travel into the Moremi Game Reserve our second and last destination which is situated in the Okavango Delta. Stopping for a picnic lunch en-route, and arriving at our camp-site in time for sun downers. Here we will camp in a private campsite in the heart of the waterways of the Okavango Delta. Spending 3 nights camping in Moremi, we explore the surrounding wilderness on game drives during the day. The Moremi Game Reserve forms part of the unique ecosystem called the Okavango Delta and Moremi covers up to one third of the Okavango. The total area of the Okavango covers up to 18 000 square kilometers of which the Moremi Game Reserve is 5000 square kilometers. Mornings we rise with tea, coffee and a light breakfast served by the fire, before we depart in our game drive vehicle, back to camp for a brunch/lunch and then siesta/showers/chill time. Afternoon tea will be served under the Mess tent and then out for an afternoon/early evening drive.

As today is your last day in Botswana, we drive back to Maun, en-route game view safari. Enjoy your final morning activities followed by a leisurely breakfast before being collected at the camp and transferred back to Maun International Airport, where you board your connecting flight back home.
