Heading over to Amboseli National Park

Your safari adventure begins in Nairobi, at the airport or your preferred pick-up location. Early in the morning, you will embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park, which is a 4 to 5-hour drive from Nairobi. You will arrive at Aa Lodge Amboseli at lunchtime.

After settling into your room and getting some rest, you will head out for an afternoon game drive in Amboseli. Your guide will lead you through the park, where you will likely spot herds of elephants and zebras roaming the plains for food. Amboseli is also home to big cats like lions, so you might witness one on the hunt.

One of the highlights of Amboseli is the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro. As the sun sets in the clear sky, the dark silhouette of the mountain provides a perfect opportunity to capture stunning photographs or take memorable shots of yourself against this scenic backdrop.

After an exciting day, you will return to the lodge for dinner and rest to prepare you for the adventures that lie ahead.

Game Drive then back to Nairobi

After enjoying your breakfast, you will head back into the park for a morning game drive. This time, the guide will take you down roads you have not explored before, possibly visiting Lake Amboseli if you did not go there on your previous drive. Lake Amboseli is famous for the flamingoes that gather along its shores for food. Many animals also come to drink, creating a lively scene, especially when predators find their prey.

You will leave the park late in the morning and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off at the airport or your preferred location. This marks the conclusion of your safari experience.
