Day 1

Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Pick up from the airport/ guest by our safari guide and brief you about destination Uganda. Welcome you to Uganda and briefly introduce to you your 4 days Luxury Gorilla trekking trip. And start the drive to South Western Uganda the home to the Mountain Gorillas. You will regular breaks for relaxation and stretching the muscle since the journey is a long one. First, stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for Pictures and Experiments in the Northern and southern sectors and at the 0 degrees latitude. Drive Mbarara for Lunch at Igongo Country Hotel and have a brief history about the cultures of the Ankole people. Before proceeding through the winding roads of the Kigezi region to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 2

First Gorilla trekking in the Nkuringo Sector

After early breakfast, drive to the Park headquarters for a briefing about what you should and shouldn’t do while with the gorillas. At this point, if you have any Viral disease like Flue you will be stopped from tracking the gorillas since they easily catch human diseases. You will then enter the forests with your guides, rangers, and researchers to track the gorillas. Once you reach a gorilla family, you are allowed an hour with them to take pictures, observe and experience them while they carry on with their daily way of life. This is a one-life experience you cannot easily forget.

Meanwhile after tracking, you will go back to the starting point for your gorilla certificate to prove that you penetrated the impenetrable forest. You will get into your car and drive to Rushaga Sector and prepare for other treks the following day.

Day 3

Second gorilla trekking and batwa Community Visit

Second gorilla trekking and batwa Community Visit

Following an early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive Rushaga sector Park headquarters for briefing, from here, you are assigned a local ranger guide and you are divided into groups of eight trekkers, a maximum number of trekkers allowed to visit a gorilla family per day.
However gorilla trekking takes about 1 to 6 hours of trekking into the impenetrable forest, depending on the movements of the apes or the speed of the trekkers. You will spend one magical hour in the presence of these apes, watching them carry on with their daily lives as you learn about them.
After trekking you will drive back to your lodge for relaxation and in the evening, you will visit the Batwa community who were the first inhabitants of the impenetrable forest before they were resettled outside the park. You will enjoy traditional performances as you get close and personal encounters with the local people. Later return to the lodge for overnight.

Day 4

Drive back to Kampala To end the Safari

Drive back to Kampala To end the Safari

Following breakfast, drive back to Kampala to End the Safari, have a stopover in Mbarara for Lunch, and proceed to the Airport. Alternatively, you can opt to fly using the Aero link from Kisoro airstrip to Entebbe or Kajjansi to end the Safari.
