Day 1

Pickup by the company guide early in the morning from the hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and drive to Murchison Falls national park, Uganda’s finest and largest national park. It has a record of 76 mammal species and 451 birds. Along the way you will stop over to track rhinos at Zziwa Rhino sanctuary for two hours, have lunch and proceed to Murchison falls National Park reaching in the evening. Check-in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

After an early breakfast, drive to the Northern Part of the Park for an open game drive, make sure to carry your camera for the best shots. You will be able to spot giraffes, buffaloes, Jackson hartebeests, antelopes, duikers, hyenas, warthogs and lions, leopards, hyenas all can be spotted in the savannah open grassland.
Later return to the lodge for lunch and refresh and in the afternoon go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will have a close look to the thrilling white-water falls. Along you will also be able to spot school of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants at the bank of the lake, waterbird species such as storks, fish eagles among others. You also have a chance to hike to the top falls and the meet your drive guide at the top and drive you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale National Park

You will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge and check out driving to another destination, Kibale Forest National Park, a protected rain forest with over 5000 chimpanzees and several other 12 primate species. Along the way is a scenic drive of tea plantations and you will have your lunch en-route in Fort portal town and later proceed to the park. Check-in at the lodge and have a relaxed evening as you wait for dinner.

Day 4

After an early breakfast drive to Park Headquarters where you will be briefed about chimpanzee rules and regulations, code of conduct while with them and later you kick start the experience led by the ranger guide into the forest park. Be on the look out to spot other primates such red tailed monkeys, black and white monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys, olive baboons and also mammal species such as duikers, forest elephants not forgetting a variety of bird species. When you find a troop of the chimpanzees, spend an hour with them as you observe their lifestyle, feeding, making nests, playful with the young ones and after Return to the lodge afternoon rest and in the evening, you will do a nature walk in Bigodi, exciting features are birds, duikers, bush bucks as well the community around.

Day 5

On this day, you will have breakfast at leisure and check out of the lodge to Queen Elizabeth National Park, this park as a full package, in it there are crater lakes, Forest, rift valley escarpment, mammals, primates, reptiles, wetlands and over 600 bird species. In other wards it has a rich diverse eco system. While on the way you take on a crater lake drive while you reach in the afternoon for lunch and boat cruise late on kazinga channel. For this you will get an up-close sighting of crocodile, hippos, elephants, buffalos at the bank of the lake as well as a variety of water bird species. After this, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6

Game drive & community visit

Game drive & community visit

An early morning game drive starts at 6am along Kasenyi Plains with chances to spot lions, hyenas, leopards from catching their prey. You will be able to spot antelopes, elands, bushbucks, impalas, buffalos, warthogs among many other. Return to the lodge for late breakfast then lunch and in the afternoon, you will visit the community around lake katwe to see how they extract local rock salt from the lake. Head back to the lodge and prepare for an evening game drive through the park.

Wake up so early and proceed for a walk through the Imaramagambo forest which is one of the second largest forests in Uganda. This forest is a habitat to several primates and many forest dwellers. The forest harbors many wildlife species including; butterflies, birds, bats, and chimpanzees which are found in Kyambura Gorge with in the forest. This walk will also take you to the volcanic caves which are home to thousands of bat species as well as the predator pythons. These pythons’ prey on the bats which leave within the cave.
Later in the afternoon after enjoying your lunch, you will proceed for a boat cruise where you will be able to see different water birds, schools of hippos, herds of elephants which often frequents the banks to cool of the excessive heat, crocodiles and herds of buffaloes. After the launch cruise set out to the lodge for Relaxation and Overnight.

After breakfast transfer Bwindi via the Ishasha sector as you will have a chance to observe tree-climbing lions in the wild. Bwindi National Park is home to mountain gorillas, over 346 bird species including 27 endemics of the Albertine rift valley, 120 mammal species, 400 plant species, among others. The Park covers an average area of 331 sq km. You will have lunch enroute and continue with your journey combined with amazing and spectacular views of banana, tea plantations and the overall green vegetation of the area. On reaching the park check in at lodge of preference. Have dinner and overnight stay as you wait the big day for gorilla tracking.

After an early breakfast, drive to the park quarters for briefing at 7 am, gorilla tracking starts by 8 am you are led by the ranger guide to the starting point. Make sure you carry packed lunch, enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, rain jackets, walking sticks for those who are not so fit. Gorilla trekking takes an average time of 2-8 hours depending on how far the gorillas have moved. In the evening, go for a community walk where you will visit the Batwa, which is an indigenous group of people that lived in the forest for many years before eviction, enjoy traditional dances from them. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10

After breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, which is approximately a 6-to-7-hour drive. You will drive through the beautiful scenery of Terraced kigezi hills, farms banana plantation until you reach lake Mburo. This Park is the smallest but surprisingly with 13 lakes inside, it is known mostly for having a dazzle of zebras, impalas, antelope species, over 332 bird species all occupying an area of 371 sq km. You will have lunch enroute in Mbarara and proceed with afternoon game drive as soon as you enter the park.
