Your five-day safari into the true African wilderness begins early in the morning from either Entebbe. You will drive to Kidepo Vally National park using Gulu-Kuruma hight. The first stopover will be at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will have a visit to the sanctuary for white rhinos left in Uganda. After the experience of rhino tracking, you will have a delicious lunch. Afterwards, you will continue to Gulu town, crossing the roaring Great River Nile on Karuma.

In Gulu, you will check into your accommodation for an overnight stay. This adventure promises to immerse you in the stunning landscapes and unique wildlife that makes Uganda a must-visit destination.

After enjoying your breakfast, you will set off for the rugged, semi-arid, yet breathtakingly beautiful valleys of Kidepo Valley National Park. As you traverse the unique savannah plains, you'll be entering a habitat that supports over 77 species of mammals, including the iconic African Big Four: lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards. Additionally, the park is a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with around 475 bird species gracing the skies and landscapes. After Breakfast, you will embark on an early morning game drive to view different wildlife species. Keep an eye out for a diverse array of animals, including elephants, warthogs, zebras, elands, duikers, Jackson’s hartebeests, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, vast herds of buffalo, cheetahs, and numerous bird species. This drive offers a unique opportunity to witness the morning routines and interactions of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.

Later in the late afternoon, you'll head out on another game drive, this time towards the famous hot springs. Upon arrival, you will have the chance to explore the area on foot, walking around the steaming hot water streams and appreciating the geothermal wonder amidst the wild landscape. After breakfast, you'll set off on another morning game drive through the Narus Valley, offering you the chance to observe a wide variety of birds especially the vultures in their natural habitat. In the evening, you'll travel to a nearby village for an immersive community experience. Here, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating beliefs and values of the Karamojong people.
