Lake manyara national park

Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its alkaline lake that shimmers in the sunlight, the park is a haven for birdwatchers and those seeking encounters with the region’s famed tree-climbing lions. The safari vehicle winds its way through dense forests and open grasslands, the air rich with the scent of wild sage and damp earth. The highlight of Manyara lies in its tree-climbing lions, a behavior unique to this region. With patience and keen eyes, the safari group scans the branches of ancient mahogany trees, rewarded by the sight of a lioness draped lazily across a thick branch, surveying her domain with a regal air. It’s a sight that epitomizes the adaptability and resilience of wildlife in the face of challenging environments. As the safari makes its way towards the park’s higher ground, offering sweeping views over the lake and beyond.
