Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We’ll pick you up from your hotel, and after meeting your guide and chef, drive to Tarangire National Park (a 2-hour drive). The park is known for its varied landscape and many ancient baobab trees, as well as the largest number of elephants in Tanzania. You’ll have great chances to see elephant families up close.

You’ll go on a game drive to spot animals, with a focus on predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, though you’ll also see plenty of herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras.

Later, you’ll stop at the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch with a view of the river and animals. Be prepared for small monkeys and baboons that might try to grab your lunch, but don’t worry, they’re harmless.
