On arrival at Lusaka International Airport, a local Safari365 representative will meet you and assist you with your onward light aircraft flight through to South Luangwa National Park. Upon arrival at Mfuwe Airport, you will then fly approximately 25 minutes to Luamfwa airstrip in the Sungani plane (Cessna 206). Then a lodge staff member will transfer you through to Sungani Lodge. The lodge is in the south of the park in the Luangwa River valley. Upon arrival you will have time to experience what this luxury safari lodge has to offer. Enjoy the views from the elevated decking with has uninterrupted views. Each bedroom has a private deck and plunge pool with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. In the late afternoon enjoy your first game activity.

After a morning game activity, head back to the lodge for an a la carte breakfast with a refreshing juice and freshly ground local coffee while you sit on the main deck. Lunch and afternoon team are a tribute to a bygone era. Enjoy a lunch time alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage with a buffet style lunch. Afternoon tea offers freshly baked pastries before you head out on your afternoon game drive.

Today you will head off to a luxury gem in the Lower Zambezi National Park - the award-winning Lolebezi. Take a light aircraft flight back to Mfuwe and from here fly to a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This area has some of the best wildlife sightings in the world, especially known for its leopard population. From either Jeki or Royal Airstrip you will have a mini game-drive which is a 15 minute transfer to the contemporary and modern lodge. The lodge is suitable for children as there are family suites and signature suites for couples. Upon arrival you will check into your stylish air-conditioned suites with private plunge pools.

On day 5 and 6 enjoy some of the many activities offered or you can partake in the lodge facilities which includes a gym, inhouse open-air cinema, do some retail shopping at the gift shop. We also recommend pre-booking a beauty treatment or massage at the spa with qualified therapists. There is also a serene yoga deck for the ultimate relaxation. Each suite has a thatched Sala on the river and you can spot elephant herds, a pod of hippos or a herd of buffalo. A highlight is having a peaceful sunset boat cruise on the mighty Zambezi River, especially if it is a full moon night.

Today enjoy your morning game activity, then transfer back to the airstrip for a flight to Lusaka. From Lusaka take a flight to Livingstone for your next destination in this luxury Zambia safari tour. Upon arrival a Thorntree River Lodge representative will transfer you 20 minutes upstream. Check into this popular property which will be the perfect ending to your safari experience in Zambia. The property is located on the glorious banks of the Zambezi River with a close location to the world-famous Victoria Falls. The lodge boasts plenty of activities to keep yourself busy, while theh location offers peace and tranquility on the river's edge. A must today should be the sunset cruise on Thorntree's private boat with delicious safari sundowners. The region is home to a variety of birds and animals, including 35 species of raptors, warthog, sable, elend, impala, white rhino and Grant's zebra. The evening meal will be a 3-course al fresco dinner paired with some of the best South African wines from the well-stocked wine cellar.
