Day 1
Arusha To Tarangire National Park
Arusha To Tarangire National Park
Early in the morning, your driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive for 2 hours to the gates of Tarangire National Park, where you will do a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. You will stop for lunch at a picnic site, then continue game driving.
Tarangire National Park is almost 2,800 sq km and is probably best known for its vast numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The park's name comes from the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the Dry season (June – November) as wildlife concentrations rival the Serengeti's. Enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only water source. With its varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2,000 elephants and 500 bird species.
Later in the evening, exit the park and drive to Heart and Soul Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will head to the Serengeti, passing by Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the heart of wildlife - the Serengeti National Park's endless plains. We then head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. The Seronera River is the source of water for this area. We will have lunch and drive through the sunset to your accommodation at Kenzan Tented Camp.
The great wildebeest migration happens every year, and the best time to witness it is from June to September in Northern Serengeti. During the drive, you will see thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River. They migrate throughout the year in search of pasture.

Ngorongoro Crater Back To Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater Back To Arusha
Pick up from the lodge after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro crater and descend into the Crater with picnic lunch boxes for a game drive. Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, magnificent bird life, the rare black rhinoceros, and all predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest afterward back to Arusha.
