Day 1

Nairobi - Aberdare National Park

Nairobi - Aberdare National Park

Your safari starts here, and we're as excited about getting going as you are. We're looking forward to meeting you, introducing you to your guide, and taking you out on the first steps of your safari.
Unlike the parks and reserves down on Kenya's plains, Aberdare National Park promises you something different. It's a world of dense forests, beautiful waterfalls, and unusual highland moors.
Wildlife here includes elephants, water bucks, bushbucks, buffaloes, and hyenas, as well as very hard-to-see black rhinos, black leopards, and the much-prized bongo antelopes.
The park is also important to Kenyans as the place where Mau Mau rebels sheltered from colonial raids during Kenya's war of independence.

Aberdare National Park - Meru National Park

In a quiet and magical corner of Meru National Park, Elewana Elsa's Kopje is a magnificent place to stay.
Your accommodation is in one of the spacious and luxurious cottage suites which are beautifully built to be a part of the rocky surroundings; watch for rock hyraxes. All-encompassing views, fine meals, an infinity pool, excellent wildlife viewing, and great service are all part of the experience.
The park’s scenery is in straightforward terms enthralling. With her comes breathtaking views of swamps, meandering rivers artistically lined with palms, thick woodlands, and a spectacular view of Mt. Kenya. Talking of Mt. Kenya, a view of the snow-capped mountain from this park will surely have you picking your jaw from the floor.
