Your safari starts here, and we're as excited about getting going as you are. We're looking forward to meeting you, introducing you to your guide, and taking you out on the first steps of your safari.
Unlike the parks and reserves down on Kenya's plains, Aberdare National Park promises you something different. It's a world of dense forests, beautiful waterfalls, and unusual highland moors.
Wildlife here includes elephants, water bucks, bushbucks, buffaloes, and hyenas, as well as very hard-to-see black rhinos, black leopards, and the much-prized bongo antelopes.
The park is also important to Kenyans as the place where Mau Mau rebels sheltered from colonial raids during Kenya's war of independence.
