Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, your driver guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive for 2 hours to the gates of Tarangire National Park. You will do a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. In the afternoon, you will stop at a picnic site and then continue with the game drive.
Tarangire National Park is almost 2,800 sq km in size and is probably best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the Dry season (June – November) as wildlife concentrations rival that of the Serengeti. Enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water. With its varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2,000 elephants and 500 bird species.
In the evening, you'll exit the park and drive to Heart and Soul Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lodge To Lake Eyasi

The Hadza, or “Hadzabe tribe” is an indigenous ethnic group in north-central Tanzania, living around Lake Eyasi in the central Rift Valley and in the neighboring Serengeti Plateau. This cultural experience is one of the most sensitive cultural encounters available in the world today. The essence of Hadzabe culture can be summed up in one word: Harmony. They live in harmony with each other, nature, and themselves, it is almost impossible to spend time with traditional hunter-gatherer tribes and not affect the way they live. But the Hadzabe in Northern Tanzania live today as they have lived for thousands of years: hunting for game with bows and arrows, gathering honey from the beautiful African baobab trees, and digging for roots and tubers from deep within the arid ground of the acacia bushland. And this will bring a deep sensitivity to your African culture. After having the lessons, you will depart back to Arusha.
