Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your Zanzibar hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your private safari guide will warmly welcome you and brief you on the journey ahead.

Drive to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem famous for its massive herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and iconic baobab-dotted landscapes. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park’s scenic plains, spotting predators such as lions and leopards along the Tarangire River.

A delicious picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot inside the park. In the late afternoon, you’ll head to Mawe Mawe Luxury Lodge in Karatu — a perfect retreat offering comfort, fine dining, and stunning sunset views over the escarpment.

Ngorongoro crater to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often described as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll enjoy one of the most spectacular game-viewing experiences in Africa.

The crater floor offers a high chance of spotting all members of the Big Five — lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and the rare black rhino — along with countless zebras, wildebeests, and flamingos decorating the lakeshore.

After a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, you’ll ascend the crater walls and return to Arusha for your flight back to Zanzibar, arriving in the evening.
