Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Full Day Birding around the swamp

Early in the morning, you will be pick from your hotel by the driver guide and then embark on a 1hour drive from Kampala to Mabamba swamp.
Upon arriving at Mabamba swamp, you will team up with a local guide who take you for a 2-hour canoe ride sailing around the dense swamp vegetation in search of the desperate dragon predator Shoe Bill Stork and other colorful bird species plus beautiful butterflies.

You will capture the best moments of the shoebill hunting for its prey in the swamp waters. Enjoy the sweet melody sounds of birds and nature.
Retreat from the experience, have lunch on the hotel prescribed, and then embark on the journey back to Kampala.
